Meet Mark Fischer, owner of Howlinfish School of Guitar. Mark is an accomplished musician, performer, songwriter, and teacher. He needed some photos to better tell his story of how he helps his clients with their guitar playing journey.

Mark really made the shoot easy, thanks to his strong sense of what he wanted to capture. Having those ideas ready to go upfront was extremely helpful.

For this shoot the interior lights were turned off and I leveraged the nice bi-directional available light coming in from the windows. This added a lot of depth and character to the lighting and made for some nice portraiture. Canon’s 24-70mm 2.8 lens was a perfect do-it-all workhorse for a shoot like this.
