About Me
I have always been a creative type of person working the right side of my brain, whether it was sketching, drawing portraits or making music. The photo bug, interestingly enough, caught up to me later in my years. What I have discovered with photography is that there’s something magical that happens when you take something technical & scientific like the production of a photograph and pair the right side thinking to the process. The feeling and satisfaction I get from that is nothing short of awesome. There’s also the warm and fuzzy feeling I get when I see or hear the reaction of a happy client. That is what I strive for.
What I like to shoot
I shoot in a variety of genres, from capturing special moments and telling a story to using on and off camera lighting with modifiers to achieve certain looks and effects.
- Weddings & Engagements

The gear that I use
For people photography I generally prefer Canon full-frame camera bodies. I use an R6 currently but the bulk of my work is was using the 5D Mark II. I prefer the use of fixed focal length, prime lenses for the majority of my work. The Zeiss Distagon T* 1,4/35 is my favorite story telling lens while the Canon 24mm 3.5L TS-E II is my favorite for architecture and environments. For travel and landscape I prefer the Fuji X system of cameras and lenses. The smaller form factor and weight, along with the color science of Fujifilm makes it a no-brainer. I currently use the XT-5.
